Good morning, servants of God. We trust you had a great weekend.

Sometimes, impacting a life does not require much. A simple act of kindness, a timely gift, or a genuine word of encouragement can bring relief and remind someone that they are not forgotten.

During this week’s outreach, ES-24 Benue had the opportunity to support three siblings who have been navigating life together after losing their parents.

Supporting Three Siblings

The three siblings are orphans and members of the church where our ESGI representative fellowships. The eldest, a young woman in her twenties, lives together with her two siblings, and together they work as teachers to provide for themselves and their younger brother.

Despite the challenges surrounding their circumstances, the siblings have remained devoted to God and committed to serving Him.

Their faithfulness and dedication became an opportunity for the ESGI representative to offer practical support and encouragement.

A Pair of Sandals and a Helping Hand

The need first became noticeable when one of the siblings was observed wearing the same worn-out pair of slippers to church services for about two months.

Moved by compassion, the ESGI representative provided him with a new pair of sandals.

In addition, ₦10,000 from ESGI funds was given to the eldest sibling to support the family’s feeding needs and ease some of the financial pressure they were experiencing.

Though these may appear to be simple gifts, they represented something much greater: care, dignity, encouragement, and a reminder that someone was willing to stand with them.

Gratitude for the Support

At the next fellowship gathering, all three siblings came together to express their gratitude for the assistance they had received.

Their appreciation serves as a reminder of the impact that intentional acts of kindness can have on individuals and families who are quietly carrying difficult burdens.

At ESGI, we remain grateful to God for every opportunity to reach people with practical love and compassion.

We also sincerely appreciate every ESGI sponsor whose generosity makes these acts of support possible. Through your giving, lives are being touched, burdens are being eased, and hope is being renewed in different communities.
