Bringing new life into the world is a moment of joy — but sometimes it comes with unexpected challenges. For Mrs. Okunola, a pregnant woman in Osun State, the blessing of a safe delivery was accompanied by a pressing financial hurdle.
Earlier, Mrs. Okunola had been ministered to during one of ESGI’s evangelism outreaches, and the team had been following up with her, praying for a safe birth. By God’s grace, she successfully delivered a healthy baby boy. However, the hospital required a payment of ₦54,000 before mother and child could be discharged, an amount the family could not immediately cover.
Upon hearing her situation, Oluwadamilare Adeleke coordinated with members of the Empowered Servants team to provide timely assistance. Through a collective effort: Bro. Increase contributed ₦15,000; Sister Hadassah, ES 13 Team Lead, contributed ₦15,000; Oluwadamilare contributed ₦15,000.
A total of ₦45,000 was sent directly to the hospital account, significantly easing the financial pressure and helping to move the discharge process forward. The family was able to arrange the remaining balance and were eventually discharged safely, giving glory to God.
Mrs. Okunola expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support, acknowledging how ESGI’s timely intervention made a real difference during a critical time.
