Every act of service begins with obedience to God’s prompting. For Ojali Deborah Meliga, an Empowered Servant serving in Abuja, what started as an early morning rush to meet a client turned into a powerful moment of spiritual renewal and tangible blessing.
On Monday morning, while heading out very early, Deborah encountered two women—Veronica and Martha—sweeping within the estate where she resides. As she passed by, she felt a strong prompting in her spirit to share the Word of God with them and bless them as the Lord would lead. Because she was running late, she asked if they would be willing to wait so she could return to speak with them after their work. They agreed.
About an hour later, Deborah returned but did not find them. However, later that day, Veronica and Martha came knocking at her door. She welcomed them warmly into her home, and together they spent time in fellowship. Deborah shared the Word of God with them, and although both women were already believers, the ministration deeply stirred their hearts.
Moved by the message, Veronica and Martha expressed a desire to rededicate their lives to Jesus Christ. Deborah prayed with them, and the moment was filled with joy, renewal, and a strong sense of God’s presence.
As the visit came to an end, Deborah shared that Jesus had a gift for them. The excitement and gratitude that followed were overwhelming. She requested their account details and transferred ₦10,000 to each of them, blessing them not only spiritually but also materially.
This encounter became a beautiful reminder that when God orchestrates moments, they carry both purpose and impact. Deborah expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the vision of the Empowered Servants Initiative and appreciation to her Coordinator for the encouragement to participate in such meaningful assignments.
