Restoring Health: Supporting Bro Boye in Osogbo
Volunteer: Attah Enotse Comfort
Location: Osogbo, Osun State
Date: December 21, 2025
Sometimes, a simple act of care can make a life-changing difference. This was the experience of Attah Enotse Comfort, an Empowered Servant in Osogbo, when she encountered Bro Boye, a church member who appeared weak and tired during a Sunday service.
Upon inquiry, Bro Boye shared that he was battling malaria. He had already started treatment but could not afford to complete it due to financial constraints. Seeing his condition, Attah decided to act immediately. Since he was too weak to go with her, she went to the pharmacy herself. Using a phone call, she coordinated with both the pharmacist and Bro Boye to confirm the drugs he had already purchased and determine the remaining medication needed.
The remaining treatment cost ₦4,500, which Attah sent directly to the pharmacy to ensure Bro Boye could complete his malaria treatment. Understanding that medication should not be taken on an empty stomach, she also gave him ₦2,000 from her personal funds to buy food.
Bro Boye was overwhelmed with gratitude, thanking God and expressing heartfelt appreciation for the timely support.
